AIIMS Nursing Course Admission Process

All India Institute of Medical Sciences Exam for Nursing is for the candidates who are interested to start their career in medical. It is an autonomous Institution on National level. AIIMS organizes entrance examinations in various courses and Nursing is one of their specializations. BSC of nursing post certification is offered at AIIMS situated in New Delhi, while BSC Honors in Nursing is not only offered at AIIMS, Delhi but also in Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Patna, Jodhpur and Raipur along with Hrishikesh. BSC Nursing is 3 years course.

Important Dates-

Online registration for the entrance exam will start in second week of March, 2017

Last date for registration falls in first week of April, 2017

Admit card will be announced in second week of May, 2017

AIIMS Delhi Exam will be conducted on 10th June, 2017

Other AIIMS Exam date:  18th June 2017

Eligibility Criteria-

Application Form-

The candidates of General and OBC categories or who do not have reservation are required to pay an application fee of Rs.1000. Candidates can make the payment of application fee either through Debit Card or Credit Card or through Bank Challan of SBI Branch

Candidates are required to apply for the entrance exam online only

After this, the candidates are required to enter basic details for the registration. Login details for such is sent to mobile number and e-mail id

After this, the candidates have to login and fill the application form with all the correct details.

Then the candidates are required to upload recent passport size photograph and scanned image of signatures

After this, the candidates have to make the payment of application fee.

Exam Pattern-

The syllabus of entrance exam varies for both BSC Honors and BSC Nursing. For BSC nursing Honors, the time duration is 2 hours with the syllabus from the physics, chemistry, biology and general knowledge with total marks being 100

In BSC Nursing exam, there will be 2 stages which are written and interview. In written test, the topics are fundamentals of nursing, medical surgical nursing which includes Anatomy, Physiology and Pharmacology, Obstetrics and Midwifery, Pediatric Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing and Professional Trends in Nursing

Admit card-

Admit card for the entrance exam will be declared on official website of exam conducting authority. It will be made available in second week of May, 2017
