The Indian Council of Agricultural Research conducts an entrance exam was popularly known as All India Entrance Examination for Admission. The main reason behind conducting this entrance exam is to offer admission to the candidates into the various under graduate and post graduate courses. AIEEA UG entrance exam is conducted for the candidates who are interested in seeking admission in bachelor degree and AIEEA PG for master’s degree

Application Form

The application form will be released in month of February, 2017 which is tentative. The candidates can apply for the ICAR entrance exam 2017 both online and offline.  Candidates have to visit the official website of exam conducting authority and do as per the instructions to apply for the application and submit the application form before the last date. Candidates who all are applying for the application form have to sent the application form and required documents with the postal stamp through registered speed or registered post to the address as-

Application Fee

For UG courses

  • For General, OBC and UPS category, it is Rs.500
  • For reserved category, it is Rs.250

For PG courses

  • For General, OBC and UPS category, it is Rs.600
  • For reserved category, it is Rs.300

For SRF (PGS) courses

  • For General, OBC and UPS category, it is Rs.1200
  • For reserved category, it is Rs.600

Mode of Payments

Online Payment-Candidates can make the payment of application form through online banking challan of syndicate bank or through debit card or credit card

Offline Payment-The candidates who are paying the fee through offline mode has to pay application fee through Demand Draft on the name of ICAR unit- Education Division, ICAR, New Delhi which will be payable at New Delhi. On the demand draft, the name and address of the candidate is required to be mentioned

Seat Reservation

There will be reservation of seats for the candidates as-

  • For Scheduled caste there is 15% seats reservation
  • For Scheduled tribes there is 7.5% seats reservation
  • For PC candidates, there is 3% seats reservation
  • For UPS candidates there is 2% seats reservation
  • For OBC, reservation of seats is done as per the government rules

Important Dates

  • The application forms will release in the month of April 2017
  • The last date for the submission of application form falls in the last week of February, 2017
  • The Admit cards will be made available in the month of March, 2017
  • The Exam will be conducted on 13th May, 2017 and 14th May, 2017
  • The Result will be declared in the last week of May, 2017

Admit Card

Along with the application form, the candidates are being allotted with the duplicate admit card. In that duplicate admit card, the candidate has to enter their details correctly except the roll number and exam center name. Candidates are advised to keep one copy of admit card with them and another one has to be submitted along with the application form
